WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS WHILE ABROAD, AND WHY?
My favorite class while abroad was Communications and Global Competence. This class was designed where we challenged theories and learned about the history of the world, its politics and more. Our professor also made class engaging by structuring the class to have discussions, and some classes were field trips to the city.
HOW DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
While abroad, I made it a priority to immerse myself in the local culture and connect with the local community. I attended festivals which were a great way to experience the traditions and celebrations of the area. I also reached out and talked with locals whenever I could, whether at markets or cafes, which helped me learn more about daily life and build genuine connections. Additionally, I joined a few workout classes, which were not only a great way to stay active but also a fun opportunity to bond with locals over shared interests.
